Experiencing Seth’s energy is like hearing surround sound in 2030 after hearing Walkman headphones in 1993.

Every business or organization needs to get out of Dodge and take a break from the familiar day-to-day. Your organization/ company/ agency is a living, breathing organism. Each person brings a personal and cultural history to the table. Creating the proper groundwork is imperative.

The hive mind opens toward deep, communal trust full of limitless possibilities.

Retreats allow the space to embrace the in-between of why we do what we do. Unfamiliar—yet comforting—environments allow for rapid, forehead-slapping cognitive shifts. Specific focuses (Product Launch) or complex issues (reforming a splintered organization) are symptomatic in scope. We're tracing back to the cause.

Profound conversations arise from establishing context within content. Peers and colleagues create overlapping parallels to define "good work".

How do we do this:

  • Re-frame the KNOWN and UNKNOWN

  • Keep it ITERATIVE

  • Focus on GENERATIVE LISTENING

  • Be OPEN to failure

There are periods of time for self-reflection and down-time which are integral to the process. Self-care isn't a nice-ity. It's a necessity.

Here's an example of a Retreat Process:
